Erin and Jeremy met while working in the Aviation department at the University of North Dakota. They discovered their mutual love for kayaking, and to find someone else who shares this passion in North Dakota is a bit of a challenge, so they immediately started hanging out. They both love the great outdoors, and Jeremy actually proposed to Erin at their campfire by the Crowing River after a long day of hiking. When they decided to get married, they needed to find some middle ground for their families, and the Lumber Exchange Event Center in Minneapolis was the perfect option for their wedding day.
Their quaint ceremony was held in Wayzata at Good Shepard Lutheran Church which was right off a lake. It was sweet and intimate with only their families invited, so after the whole group headed to the enchanting Noerenberg Gardens for photos. It really was the perfect fall day, the trees clenched to their golden leaves, and once in a while, the breeze from the lake would sweep them up and away.
After photos, the final stop was the Lumber Exchange Event Center. They had just redone the inside, and it is gorgeous in there! Erin and Jeremy’s families and also friends trickled into the space for appetizers like grilled cheese and tomato soup bites, cocktails, but also the cutest little desserts I have ever seen. Everyone was able to hang out, socialize, and enjoy each other’s company. There wasn’t a long agenda, and dancing happened whenever/wherever, it was perfect for this laid-back couple who wanted nothing more but to celebrate with the ones they love.
Congratulations Erin and Jeremy! Your wedding day suited you both so well. So relaxed but so fun! I’m glad you two found each other and wish you both happiness on all your adventures down river together!
