Lowertown Event Center Wedding – Kendyl and Justin 6/17/17
Kendyl and Justin were set up by two of their closest friends. They met for the first time at a party where they had mutual friends. They both liked each other, but Justin was too nervous to ask her out because she was beautiful, smart, and had all the qualities he was looking for in a future wife. Kendyl thought the same of Justin and finally, one day asked him when he was going to ask her out. He immediately did, and it wasn’t too long after that they had fallen head over heals in love. Their Lowertown Event Center Wedding sealed not only their love but made their family official with Justin’s beautiful daughter Kirsten.
Kendyl and her ladies started the day in Lowertown Event Center romantic bridal suite. The girls gathered around to help Kendly into her elegant dress, and while the rest of the bridesmaid put on the final touches, she headed out the door to Mears Park to meet Justin for their first look.
The original plan was for their ceremony to be at the park, but the forecast called for rain. Luckily, the forecast was wrong and the sun was shining onto the green leafy trees and bouncing off the creek in the park. They decided to keep their ceremony in the Lowertown which was for the best considering the park was full of people enjoying the gorgeous day.
Kendyl tapped Justin’s shoulder and his draw dropped after turning around. She looked absolutely radiant, and Justin hugged her in, then twirled her around, and repeated until he had enough time to take in her beauty. They took it all in for a few moments then walked around the park and through some St. Paul alleys for pictures.
Their wedding party and family joined us shortly after for their close ups, and after a beautiful afternoon in the park taking photos, everyone made their way back into the Lowertown Event Center for the ceremony.
Guests were greeted by a string quatert and the moody ambience of the Lowertown Event Center Wedding’s ceremony space. After everyone took their seats, the procession started and Kendyl’s big brown eyes light up when she saw Justin’s smile beaming right back at her. They invited Kirsten up to help braid a rope to represent the bond the three of them had and how strong their three strands were in making their family.
After the ceremony, the wedding party made their way upstairs for a cocktail while the rest of the guests moved into the next room for social hour where they noshed on some delicious appetizers and socialized. The wedding party made their way downstairs for their grand entrance and midway during dinner the toasts started. Kendyl’s dad kicked it off with a charming speech about his little girl.
Kendyl’s sisters took the mic after and pulled out a napkin of all the qualities of “Mr. Right” that they had written together years ago. They were so grateful that Kendyl had found Justin because he was all of those qualities.
Right before their first dance, the rain finally came, but their guests were dry and safe inside. Kendyl and Justin took the floor and held each other tight, staring into each others eyes, smiling from ear to ear.
Many congratulations to this now happy family! Kendyl and Justin- you two are so kind and were so great to work with! I’m so glad I was able to get to know not only you two, but Kirsten, you sweet little pup and families! What a treat to be apart of your Lowertown Event Center wedding, cheers to many years of happiness!
