Christmas in Las Vegas – 2016

For the first year in many years (I think like 20 or more) our family broke tradition and traveled for Christmas.  Thirteen members of the Thomas clan packed up their bags and headed to Las Vegas, and oh boy, it was a great time!

My Auntie Carol found us a rental house about 15 minutes from the strip.  The place was gorgeous!  Outback was a pool, hot tub, and volleyball court- I want to go back in Summer- and the dining room had a beautiful marble table which turned into a VIP dance floor on Christmas.

On Christmas Eve we went out to the strip, all separated but eventually found each other for a Green Mint Hummer Limo ride to downtown where things got real crazy.  My cousins did the zip line, we hung out with a Santa, Grandmary won seven hundred dollars…. everyone but my hubby and I came out ahead of the game.

We returned late Monday evening and I am still tired!  Way too much fun, I don’t know if we will be allowed back as a group, but I miss them all already!  Hope you had a great holiday too- would love to hear what you did and what was your favorite gift?
